How do I pay for my trip?

We accept personal checks, money orders and bank wire transfers. We also accept all major credit cards. All credit card payments incur an added 3% credit card processing fee. You will not have to pay the processing fee if you select the other forms of payment.  Should you choose to pay by credit card, please do NOT send your credit card details by email.  For your safety, we ask that you call us toll free 1.800.997.6612 to provide us with your credit card information.

Are flights included in my trip?

International glights are not included in our active journeys unless specifically stated. Our ActiveSinglesTravel experts are available to assist you in finding the best deal possible. Our travel participants may also be able to earn extra discounts on flights when booking through us provided they make a booking at least 30 days prior to departure.

Do you pair singles in double rooms?

We will attempt every effort to pair our travel participants by gender only.

Are there any age restrictions?

Our ActiveSinglesTravel journeys are designed for singles aged 25 to 55 years of age. Consequently, they tend to focus on activities and nightlife that appeal to that age range. What's included in the price of the Trip?

· Greetings, assistance at the airport
· Services of a professionally-trained trip manager
· Accommodation on double-occupancy rooms with breakfast
· Meals as indicated in the program inclusions section
· Transportation in air-conditioned vehicles appropriate for the size of our group
· All necessary outdoor activities equipment including life vests, cold food storage containers, and other outdoor and safety accessories
· Admission to all National Parks and Monuments as per the program inclusions
· Special entertainment and outdoor activities unique to each trip

Most of our trips come with a number of outdoor activities. However, some of our trips will include extra activities that are usually specific and appropriate to the venue and which incur extra charges.

Do I have to be single to sign up for your trips?

ActiveSinglesTravel provides the opportunity for solo travelers to enjoy vacations with other like minded travelers.  You do not have to be single to sign up for our trips  Our vacations are intended for adults with an average age of 40 but all adults over 21 are welcome.  Likewise, while we are NOT a dating match up service, we do encourage individuals who are hoping to meet that "someone special" to take one of our active trips.  If you are a Fitness Club, Best Friends Club etc...we invite you to contact us.  Remember, if you book a group of 10 or more, your vacation is free!

In order to ensure a positive group dynamic, we confirm our trips with the highest level of transparency, integrity and professionalism that protects the well-being of all travelers.

Do I have to Stay With The Group?

We encourage you to spend time with your group participants. You are always invited to all activities and events during your trip, but again, it's your vacation and you can do as you please. Some of our group participants will take time off from the group to venture solo.

What do I need to bring for my trip?

Every trip participant will receive a welcome kit that includes detailed information about the trip. The welcome kit will arrive to your home about twoweeks prior to your departure date.

How fit should I be to join your trip?

You must be in reasonably good health to participate in our active journeys. Many of our activities on the program are optional, so you can choose them according to your fitness level. Most National Parks offer a variety of hiking trails that suit all levels of adventure and fitness. Likewise, many of our other activities do not require previous experience.

How much money do I need to bring on the trip?

That all depends on how much treasures you wish to bring home. Remember that your trip includes accommodations, transportation, breakfast, guided sightseeing, selected meals and entrance fees to all parks and sites. Typically, people bring anywhere from $500 on up.

How much luggage can I bring on the trip?

One suitcase or rucksack with a maximum weight of 20 KG, plus one carry on bag for the van. Be sure to check the weight allowance of your luggage with your airline as well

Do I need a Visa to travel on your trip?

Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa to enter certain destinations. You are encouraged to contact the nearest consulate of your travel destination to inquire about the latest entry requirements. Because of new security measures, we no longer process Visa requests and therefore this is your sole responsibility.

Do I need travel insurance?

Although not required, we recommend that our trip participants purchase a standard travel insurance policy through our partnership with Travelex Insurance Services. This is an affordable and comprehensive travel protection program that covers you for unexpected events that could cause you to cancel or interrupt your vacation, unexpected delays, medical assistance, loss of or damage to baggage.
